ZZ Tops big, outspoken blues-rock, combined with a surrealistic charm that continues to fascinate fans, catapulted the band to worldwide fame. Their story is explored in detail in “ZZ Top: That Little Ol’ Band From Texas”, which is published by Eagle Rock Entertainment

Produced by the award-winning Banger Films, “ZZ Top: That Little Ol’ Band From Texas” delivers the story of this power trio in an artistic style that underscores the distinctive ZZ Top vibe. It reveals the story of three teenage blues musicians: guitarist Billy F. Gibbons, bassist Dusty Hill and drummer Frank Beard, who became international celebrities. In addition to interviews with the band members, the CD also includes conversations with such high-profile fans as Billy Bob Thornton and Joshua Homme (Queens Of The Stone Age) as well as never-before-seen archive material. Exclusively for this film, an intimate ZZ top performance was also shot in the historic Green Hall – the oldest dance hall in Texas.
