With harmonica player Norton Buffalo now a regular member, the Steve Miller Band kicked off the 1980s with Circle of Love (1981) and Abracadabra (1982) in quick succession, both exhibiting impeccable rock pop songwriting. The platinum-certified Abracadabra earned Miller his third No. 1 single with the title track and is also home to fellow singles “Cool Magic,” “Keeps Me Wondering Why” and “Give It Up.”
