Half Speed Mastering – Mastered At Abbey Road Studios
“Goats Head Soup” is the eleventh studio album of the Rolling Stones, which was originally released in 1973. The album was recorded in Jamaica, Los Angeles and London with producer James “Jimmy” Miller (Blind Faith, Motörhead, Traffic and others), who had previously enhanced “Beggars Banquet”, “Let It Bleed”, “Sticky Fingers” and “Exile On Main St.”. One of their biggest ballads, “Angie,” appeared on the album. “Angie” went to No. 1 in much of Europe, the U.S. and Australia, and the single also went platinum in the U.S.
As a bonus, in addition to the remixed album based on the original session tapes, there are quite a few alternative mixes, rare recordings and three previously unreleased tracks: ‘Scarlet’, ‘All The Rage’ and ‘Criss Cross’.
