Το Melodyssey είναι το 5ο προσωπικό album του συνθέτη και παραγωγού Κυριάκου Μουστάκα, μετά τις κυκλοφορίες των Outerland, Retronome, Scene Missing και Outerland II.

Ένα ταξίδι σε ηχητικά τοπία με επιρροές από τον ηλεκτρονικό ήχο και τα analog synths των 70’s, το Melodyssey ισορροπεί ανάμεσα σε instrumental και vocal συνθέσεις με δυνατές μελωδικές γραμμές και ένα φάσμα φωνητικών που περιλαμβάνει αγγλικά, γαλλικά και ιαπωνικά.

Το album αποτελεί την 3η συνεργασία του Sundayman με τον Γιώργο Μανωλούδη μετά το Retronome και το Scene Missing, με τον Γιώργο να γράφει στίχους, να τραγουδάει και να επιμελείται τα album artworks του συνθέτη. Στο Melodyssey έχουν επίσης γράψει στίχους και τραγουδήσει οι Δημήτρης Αρώνης και Sacha Reznik. Σε δύο tracks τραγουδάει η Ιωάννα Μόρφη, ενώ στο opening track η Yoshiko Sofia Udagawa.

Melodyssey is the 5th personal album of composer and producer Kyriakos Moustakas following the releases of Outerland, Retronome, Scene Missing and Outerland II.

A journey to soundscapes influenced by the electronic sound and analog synths of the 70’s,
Melodyssey balances between instrumental and vocal compositions with strong melodic lines and a range of vocals including English, French and Japanese.

The album marks the 3rd collaboration of Sundayman with George Manoloudis after Retronome and Scene Missing, with George writing lyrics, singing and curating the composer’s album artworks. Dimitris Aronis and Sacha Reznik have also written lyrics and sung οn Melodyssey. Ioanna Morphi sings on two tracks while Yoshiko Sofia Udagawa sings on the opening track.
