Το τέταρτο album του Prins Obi είναι ένας δίσκος καραντίνας-κατάθλιψης-απομόνωσης αλλά και ελπίδας-θεραπείας, φτιαγμένος στο σπίτι από τον ίδιο ως one-man-band και ηχογραφημένος κατά την διάρκεια των δύο Αθηναϊκών lockdown διαρκείας.

Ο Prins Obi, εμπνευσμένος από τον Todd Rundgren και τον Stevie Wonder, έγραψε, έκανε την παραγωγή, έπαιξε (με την εξαίρεση μερικών special guests) και ηχογράφησε μόνος του ολόκληρο το νέο του album που σηματοδοτεί την άφιξή του στο σύμπαν της bedroom music και του δίνει την ευκαιρία να πειραματιστεί με νέους ήχους και ιδέες.

Ζούμε το τέλος του πολιτισμού όπως τον ξέρουμε και το ξεκίνημα μιας νέας εποχής… Ο Prins Obi μας προσκαλεί στην προσωπική του παιδική χαρά και ανακαλύπτει μία εναλλακτική πραγματικότητα, όπου μπορούμε να γευτούμε τους ήχους, να ακούσουμε τα χρώματα και να ξεπεράσουμε τον πόνο και τα εμπόδια μέσω της δημιουργικότητας και της ειλικρίνειας.

Prins Obi’s fourth long play is a quarantine/depression/one-man-band/home-made album, recorded during the two long Athenian lockdowns.

Composed, produced, performed (with the exception of a few special guests) and engineered in its entirety by Obi himself (with Todd Rundgren and Stevie Wonder as inspiration), this new LP marks his entrance in the bedroom-musician universe and gives him the chance to experiment with new sounds and ideas.

It’s the end of the civilization as we know it and the beginning of a new era… Prins Obi invites us to his personal playground and invents an alternate reality where you can taste the sounds, hear the colours and overcome your pain and obstacles through creativity and honesty.
