Available on Vinyl for the First Time in Over 20 Years: Audiophile 180g Vinyl LP of Pink Floyd’s Animals Mastered from the Original Master Tapes

The LP reissue program on Pink Floyd Records continues with the release of the dark and mercurial Animals, the first time it has been issued in over twenty years. After over eight months of continuous recording at their own Britannia Row studios in 1976, Animals was originally released in 1977 amidst a drastically changing musical landscape. Inspired by George Orwell’s Animal Farm, Animals provides an analysis of the social-political society of 1970’s Britain, and was also created as a response to the punk rock movement at the time.
