To usher in the new year, German music producer and live act Monolink returns with his brand-new single, “Mesmerized”.

From the very first note, Mesmerized draws the listener into a world of contrasts. Deep longing interweaves with gripping instrumentation, while Steffen Linck’s thoughtful lyrics glide over layers of pulsating percussion and atmospheric synths. The result is a track that feels just as fitting for moonlit dancefloors as it does for introspective moments. It’s a journey that balances vulnerability and groove, inviting listeners to lose themselves in its hypnotic spell.

On the B-side, Monolink presents a beautiful acoustic reinterpretation of the track. Stripping away the electronic layers of the original, this version highlights the raw emotion in Monolink’s soulful vocals and acoustic instrumentation, breathing new life into its already profound narrative.

Arranged, composed, and co-produced by Steffen Linck himself, the acoustic version was recorded at Cathedral Recordings Studios in Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, with producer and engineer Toby Siebert. This rendition offers a thought-provoking sonic journey, emphasizing the delicate balance between emotion and melody that defines Monolink’s signature sound.
