Edge Of Sanity’s heavy yet adventurous sixth album “Infernal” is finally being reissued 27 years after its initial release in 2025.

Originally recorded at Abyss Studio with Peter Tägtgren (Hypocrisy, Pain), songwriter / frontman / producer Dan Swanö (Opeth, Dissection, Bloodbath) has now pulled out all the stops to remaster “Infernal” in its entirety and release it as a Ltd. 2CD (11 tracks + bonus CD with 14 tracks) with O-Card and for the first time also as an LP (11 tracks). This ultimate edition of “Infernal” includes the unreleased 1996 demo, a remaster of the bonus track “Moonshine” and nine relentless, classic Edge Of Sanity live tracks from 1991 on the bonus CD.

First released in 1997, “Infernal” contains critical tracks such as “Hell is Where the Heart is”, “15: 36”, “Helter Skelter”, “Losing Myself” and the tellingly titled “The Last Song”. Even though the classic Edge Of Sanity line-up has passed its zenith on “Infernal”, long-time fans and new followers of the band now have the opportunity to hear one of the most diverse and underrated Edge Of Sanity releases once again.
