Originally released in 1974, an Alligator classic from one of the blues' finest composers, most melodic singers and subtle guitarists - Fenton Robinson was hailed as "The Mellow Blues Genius" and Somebody Loan Me A Dime is his crowning achievement. Features his definitive versions of the title track (covered by Boz Scaggs) and "Texas Flood" (covered by Stevie Ray Vaughan). All tracks remastered. 

Fenton Robinson is being posthumously inducted into the Blues Hall of Fame in 2023. Somebody Loan Me A Dime has sold over 50,000 units in the U.S. in all formats.
