The album "Emerson, Lake & Palmer" is the first album of the legendary progressive rock supergroup of the same name. In 2016 the longplayer will be released again, completely remastered as LP and as double CD with additional highlights.

Originally, "Emerson, Lake & Palmer" had already been published in 1970. The album is not a jointly written work. Most of the songs are adaptations of classical pieces or solo songs of the individual band members. The album reached number four in the British album charts and number seven in Germany.

Both the double CD (Deluxe Edition) and the LP contain a 24 bit / high density remaster of the original album. The bonus CD of the Deluxe Edition also features the Alternate 2012 stereo mix by star producer Steven Wilson (Porcupine Tree) as well as four bonus tracks from the original album sessions and four alternative versions. The Deluxe Edition is rounded off by an extensive booklet with current interviews with Greg Lake and the recently deceased Keith Emerson.
