“”Pilgrimage””, released in 1971, is the second studio album by the British rock band Wishbone Ash. The album showcases a blend of progressive rock, blues rock, and hard rock. Wishbone Ash is particularly known for its twin lead guitar harmonies, a distinctive feature that is prominent on “”Pilgrimage.”” The album features several notable tracks, including: “”Vas Dis””: An energetic opening track with jazz influences. “”The Pilgrim””: An instrumental piece that is one of the standout tracks, highlighting the band’s dual guitar work. “”Jail Bait””: A rock-oriented track that became a live favorite and “”Valediction””: A more reflective and melodic song showcasing the band’s softer side. “Pelgrimage” was produced by Derek Lawrence, who also produced the band’s debut album.
