Tony Iommi is an English musician. He co-founded the pioneering heavy metal band Black Sabbath, and was the band’s guitarist, leader, primary composer, and sole continuous member for over five decades. He is considered one of the trailblazers and pioneers of heavy metal music, and is responsible for inspiring numerous subgenres of metal. He is widely considered to be one of the greatest rock guitarists of all time. Iommi has won a number of awards. These include Q Awards Kerrang! Awards, as well as three Grammy Awards won as a member of Black Sabbath.

Glenn Hughes is an English musician, best known for playing bass and performing vocals in the hard rock band Trapeze and in the Mk. III and IV line-ups of Deep Purple,as well as briefly fronting Black Sabbath in the mid-1980s. In addition to being an active session musician, Hughes also maintains a notable solo career. He currently fronts the supergroup Black Country Communion, and fronted California Breed from 2013 to 2015 and The Dead Daisies from 2019 to 2023. In 2016, Hughes was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Deep Purple.

This is a Re-issue of the 1996 DEP Sessions album – A collaborative studio album by legendary Black Sabbath guitarist Tony Iommi and former Sabbath frontman, Glenn Hughes. Originally released in 2004, the album features tracks recorded in 1996 at DEP International Studios in Digbeth, Birmingham. This release is pressed on vinyl for the first time ever on limited Translucent Black Ice colour.
