Bruce Springsteen Kicks Off 2009 with a New Album

The music year 2009 opens on a high note as Bruce Springsteen unveils his 24th studio album, Working on a Dream.

Featuring 13 brand-new tracks, the album was crafted alongside the E Street Band at Southern Tracks Studio in Atlanta, with additional sessions held in New York, Los Angeles, and New Jersey. Reflecting on the album’s creation, Springsteen shared: “Toward the end of recording Magic, I was so inspired by the return to pop production that I kept writing more songs. When my friend and producer Brendan O’Brien heard them, he said, ‘Let’s keep going.’ So that’s exactly what we did—working in the studio during breaks from the tour over the following year.”

Working on a Dream captures the energy and artistry that Springsteen and the E Street Band are known for, marking another chapter in his storied career.
