The second full-length record from Greek psychedelic/stoner rockers 1000Mods, Vultures is a masterful work that stands middle ground between heavy stoner rock and 70´s psychedelic rock, radiating influences from such iconic artists as Black Sabbath, Kyuss, Blue Cheer and Monster Magnet.

Vultures comes three years after the release of their first album, the Billy Anderson produced-Super Van Vacation and is an example of excellent and passionate musical execution, overflowing with insanely catchy, groovy riffs and tasty guitar licks embed with the spirit of bluesy 70’s rock.

Yet, don’t take Vultures for another retro-obsessed album as 1000Mods aren’t merely rehashing the sounds of those landmark acts, instead they’re taking those influences and creating something of their own and the results are stellar and downright engaging. These eights absolutely deserve to be listened by all fans of good and genuine heavy rock.
